A couple from Porto, brings the best of francesinha to Viseu in a cosy and amazing place surrounded by lots of good wine, homemade traditional cakes/deserts, books and home/handmade pieces of wooden crafts by Mr. Simão. For sure a well wasted time in a gastronomic and cultural environment.
Francesinha.... seems like anyone can do it, right? Perfect background music matches the perfect balance of taste in this simple dish that so many people fail miserably at. How is it? the quiet gentleman asked me Perfect... congratulations was my answer. Portuguese comfort food at its best!
Super friendly owner. Not a large menu. It's all homemade. The queijo cakes are the best we ever had. Unpretentious and really cheap.
Great blueberry cupcakes, the best I ever had. Home made food. And superb care from the owner. Very cosy to be though don’t expect be variety regarding menu, but everything is really good
