Bidra med feedbackThe pizza here is among the best I've ever had in Cebu, and it's what keeps me coming back. The risotto and the variety of pasta options are also noteworthy. Everything is freshly prepared, and I've never been disappointed with the taste. The only downside when dining with a large group is that they only accept cash as payment.
Dining at Giuseppe was a truly delightful experience. The staff were friendly and promptly answered any questions we had about the menu. They were tight-lipped about the secret ingredients in their spicy sauce recipe, though! I tried the spinach ravioli, the special calzone, and the dipping breads, all of which were delicious. The restaurant is conveniently located close to the hotel where we stayed in Mactan.
The food here is excellent, and the service is always pleasant and prompt. It is a bit on the pricey side compared to local options, but I would definitely recommend it for a nice dinner with wine. For a quick pizza lunch, I would opt for something less expensive. Over several visits, we tried a variety of dishes including pizzas, focaccia, carpaccio, minestrone soup, risotto, cured meats and cheese, tuna tartare, and tuna steak. Everything was really good—fresh and flavorful, just as it should be. The pizzas lean more towards the American style with plenty of toppings and a thicker crust, but they’re still enjoyable. As for desserts, I recommend the tiramisu, though it is a bit heavy, and the panna cotta could use a richer flavor.
